Do I need to have my own accounting platform? E.g A Quickbooks account
Yes, we recommend that you create an account on the accounting platform of your choice. This will allow you to have control of your accounts and you can provide me with access to the platform whilst maintaining overall control of the platform.
What will happen during the free 30 mins consultation? Do I need to bring anything with me?
You don’t need to bring anything but yourself! This is a chance for us to get to know each other and discovery what you’ll need and how we can assist you.
Please note, there is a limit of 1 free consultation per person.
Am I allowed to call you for any follow-up questions?
Yes! If you have follow up questions and have already purchased your package, please book in here (Calendly link).

Can you contact companies house/HMRC on my behalf?
Yes, once you have given me authorisation to do so. Depending on the enquiry, you will be advised as to what we need to do so.

Who will be taking care of my bookkeeping? Will I always deal with the same person?

Who will be taking care of my accounts?
As a new business, we can take you through the process of maintaining your accounts and provide you with assistance. Alternatively, you can maintain them yourselves. During your consultation, this will be discussed with you.
Will I still have control of my business even though I’m outsourcing my accounting?
There are accounting platforms that will allow you to give access without compromising your security. We will request a share link from you, which you can then disable once the service is complete.
How will you communicate with me?
We can communicate through your preferred contact method. The most common ways are via, phone, zoom and email.
When do I need to register for VAT?
You need to register for VAT when your total taxable turnover (annually) is over £85,000. Please book a consultation if you would like further information.
How do I calculate what tax I need to pay?
Currently the tax rate is 19% of your profit for LTD Company, but we recommend booking in a call so we can review your accounts to calculate the correct amount.
What happens if I file my tax return late?
Unfortunately, you will be fined by HMRC
How do I calculate the deadline for my year end accounts?
The annual anniversary of your company’s registration date with companies house.
What information do I need to file with companies house?
Once you’ve registered with companies house, you will be able to file your annual accounts (regardless of profit and loss). Depending on your circumstances you will need different information to file. This will explained to you in detail, during your consultation.
